Your responsibilities will include: Providing expert clinical care to patients with endocrine conditions, both in an outpatient and inpatient setting. General and specialist diabetes and endocrine clinics tailored according to interests and expertise. Collaborating with our multidisciplinary diabetes and endocrine teams Working with colleagues across specialities to develop pathways and provide multidisciplinary care. Participating in 1:4 rotational shared care of a diabetes/general medical ward. Speciality consults and supervision of Speciality Registrars 1:9 general medicine weekend, weekday and Bank holiday cover Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, contributing to their development and training. Contributing to audit, clinical governance and service development Support participation in research and clinical trials Participating in departmental meetings, case presentations, and teaching sessions for medical students and doctors in training.
