Exciting opportunities have arisen within our Emergency Department for band 5 Staff Nurses.
The department has had several exciting developments including a new resuscitation room and dynamic CT scanner. These have helped ensure that we are at the forefront of emergency care, delivering optimum services for trauma patients and CVA pathways, as well as other emergencies.
Successful applicants will benefit from our new starter pathway including supernumerary shifts throughout, robust buddy system to ensure consistency and support for as long as required. This will enable you to develop a range of clinical skills and competencies to support your career in emergency care. You will need to show a basic understanding of local and national initiatives in order to help the department meet the Emergency Care Four Hour Standard, whilst ensuring the delivery of high standards of nursing care.
You will develop your skills through preceptorship and formal educational development within this busy dynamic area.
