Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for their next SHE Advisor to cover a role in West London. The ideal candidate for this role would have a strong understanding of SHEQ principles and knowledge, with practical experience working on Power projects. Responsibilities: Advise and assist in the planning and promotion of health, safety, and environmental programs, establishing suitable mechanisms for implementation. Interpret and advise on the implementation of company policies, procedures, and safe systems of work. Ensure compliance with the company's integrated management system and relevant contracts. Conduct regular site, depot, and CDM audits, which may require occasional out-of-hours work, including weekends or nights. Monitor sites to ensure all required documentation is in place and site notice boards are current and appropriately located. Attend client contract meetings as needed, preparing and delivering presentations accordingly. Investigate the root causes of accidents, incidents, and near misses, proposing and implementing preventive measures, and compiling required reports promptly. Ensure all staff under your influence receive adequate and appropriate training in health, safety, quality, and environmental matters, assisting line managers in identifying training gaps.Experience/Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Health and Safety, such as a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent. Proven experience in a similar role within the Power or civil engineering industry. Strong understanding of SHEQ legislation, standards, and best practices in the UK.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team, contributing to critical infrastructure projects in the energy and water sectors.
