Vivobarefoot is growing fast and as it does, we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and co-ordinate our end-to-end processes from PO creation, factory collection and delivery to global DC’s.
The role will encompass all aspects of the supply chain activities from work required to ensure shoes are dispatched correctly, delivered on time, invoices reconciled, and logistics reporting/analysis delivered to the business. You will also manage carrier relationships and optimise freight processes to reduce costs, whilst maintaining quality and compliance standards.
What you'll be doing.......
Supply Chain Strategy and Planning
* Responsible for executing Vivobarefoot’s supply chain strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
* Collaborate with factories, freight partners, logistics partners, and internal teams to create a seamless and efficient supply chain for Vivobarefoot.
* Manage, track and monitor inbound freight to ensure schedules are met and delays minimised.
* Analyse market trends (with focus on the reactive freight market), demand forecasts, and business objectives to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of shoes.
* Continually optimise logistics and distribution processes. This includes determining the most efficient routes, transportation methods, and inventory levels to achieve commercial goals.
* Resolve issues related to freight damage, delays or discrepancies.
Inventory and Logistics Management
* Oversee inventory control and stock levels. This involves monitoring inventory levels, ensuring appropriate stock levels in each warehouse to meet demand (B2C, Retail and B2B), whilst working with demand planning teams to manage the replenishment process.
* Work closely with regional logistics leads who oversee warehouses and transportation logistics to ensure ‘on-shelf’ efficiency/availability to our customers.
Supplier and Vendor Relations
* Build relationships based on effective communication, trust, and mutual benefit with regular engagement with suppliers to discuss performance, issues, and opportunities to improve cost and service.
* Support the logistics lead in the negotiation of contracts and terms with suppliers, using market intelligence to ensure favourable terms that align with the company’s goals. This includes price negotiation, delivery schedules, payment terms, and quality standards.
* Establish and maintain OTIF supply of shoes.
Data Analysis and Reporting
* Utilise data and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, and carrier performance.
* Collect and analyse data on various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory levels, transportation costs, lead times, and supplier performance.
* Provide insights and reports into the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain to support the future S&OP process.
Risk Management and Compliance
* Assess risk factors including supplier reliability, geopolitical issues, natural disasters, and regulatory changes.
* Remain updated on relevant laws and regulations across all territories, such as environmental standards, labour laws, trade regulations and company policies, ensuring that the supply chain operates within these legal frameworks.
* Address discrepancies or non-compliance issues promptly.
Team Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

Work experience:
You'll have worked in a similar role, ideally within footwear or retail.

Technical Skills:
* Supply chain software proficiency.
* Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

* Familiarity with NetSuite would be preferable.
