SEN Teaching Assistant
Prospero Teaching are working with a ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated SEN School based in Bournemouth seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for September 2024
This specialist setting caters for children and young people aged 11-16 with Autism alongside other complex needs to include SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
Your role will include providing support for pupils, teachers, and the school, working within small-class sizes or with pupils on a 1:1 basis offering a therapeutic approach rich in vocational opportunities.

9. Hours – 8:30 – ( hours per week)
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
10. Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
11. GCSES: English & Maths
12. Minimum 1 year working with children
13. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional child related references
