Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: Day: £19 – £22 per hour
About the role:
The Pharmacy team at seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, lasting for three months. The successful candidate will work primarily within our dispensary, ensuring the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
2. Provide support to the pharmacy team in managing stock levels and ensuring the safe storage of medications.
3. Assist in the preparation of prescriptions and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
4. Offer advice and support to patients regarding their medications.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
6. Essential: Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.GPhC Registered: Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.Experience working within a dispensary setting.
7. Desirable: Previous NHS hospital experience is essential.Proven experience in medicines management, accuracy checking, and working in a hospital setting.Proficiency in labelling and dispensing medications.
