This is a consultancy role, ideal for someone who enjoys delivering hands-on support while providing expert HR advice to SMEs across a range of industries. You’ll be an extension of our clients’ teams, guiding them through key changes, challenges, and improvements, all while ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
What You’ll Do:
As a HR Consultant, you will:
Lead and Advise: Facilitate key meetings, provide expert support advice on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
Support Compliance: Keep clients up to date with the latest UK employment law changes, ensuring policies, contracts, and handbooks are compliant and tailored to their needs.
Deliver Training: Design and deliver HR training both virtually and face-to-face, equipping managers and staff with the skills to navigate HR processes confidently.
Offer Practical Solutions: Work hands-on with clients, chairing disciplinary or grievance hearings, and supporting sensitive processes such as redundancy or restructuring.
Build Strong Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor, providing proactive and focussed HR solutions to meet each client’s unique needs. Help to build on and grow our network or clients attending and hosting events and training.
Empower Businesses: Help clients navigate complex challenges, improve operations, and drive employee engagement and retention.What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 (essential); CIPD Level 7 (desirable).
Experince Demonstrated ability to handle complex Employee Relations cases.
Strong background in generalist HR, with expertise in employment law and compliance. Experince delivering or passion for training would be a strong advantage.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to deliver engaging training sessions and host professional events or seminars.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
