£42,000

The EMC Project Team supports projects by ensuring that the appropriate requirements are implemented, designs are robust, and the overall strategy is precise.
In this role, you will be responsible for drafting Environmental Requirement Specifications (ERSs) and related documentation, such as EMC Control Plans, Proving Plans, Proving Requirements, and Proving Instructions to aid in product development and qualification. The position also involves reviewing hardware, which may include hands-on assessments and some informal testing.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
* Higher education or relevant experience in fields such as Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, EMC, or related areas.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for all levels of interaction.
* Ability to meet defined deadlines and work within budget constraints.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Professional demeanor with adaptability to evolving project needs.
Desirable:
* Basic understanding of EMC principles and design concepts.
* Familiarity with military EMC standards at the system, sub-system, or equipment level (e.g., Defence Standard 59-41 / 59-411, AECTP500, Mil-Std-461, RTCA DO160 / EUROCAE ED-14).
* Previous experience in providing support related to electromagnetic compatibility.
