Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in the precision engineering industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong background in quality assurance, problem-solving, and process optimization within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or relevant industry standards.

Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address non-conformances and customer complaints.
*
Conduct internal and supplier audits, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
*
Utilize statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and other quality tools to monitor and improve production processes.
*
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to enhance product quality and reliability.
*
Define and implement inspection and testing protocols for components and finished products.
*
Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing quality control requirements and validation processes.
*
Develop training programs and mentor junior quality engineers and production staff on best practices in quality management.
*
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
*
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices in precision engineering quality management.
Key Requirements:
*
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
*
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the precision engineering or manufacturing industry.
*
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
*
Proven experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
*
Proficiency in using quality tools such as SPC, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), 8D, and APQP.
*
Hands-on experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and metrology tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
*
Experience working with automotive, aerospace, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing industries is preferred.
