A secondary school in the Stratford-Upon Avon area is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team. This role is perfect for a passionate educator who can engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for science and encouraging curiosity in the world around them. This role is initially for two terms however for the right person there is an opportunity to go perm. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality lessons, supporting students of varying abilities, and contributing to the positive learning environment within the school. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Adapt teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs, using differentiation to ensure every student reaches their potential. Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, experimentation, and a positive attitude towards learning. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support where needed. Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department and contribute to the development of innovative teaching strategies and resources. Participate in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and school-wide events to further support the school’s goals and student achievement.Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong academic background in science. Experience teaching Science at the secondary level, ideally across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. A creative and dynamic approach to teaching that inspires student engagement and achievement. Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a safe and productive learning environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and parents.
