A well-qualified, motivated, and high quality Teacher of PE is required for September 2025 for a full-time, permanent position.
Our busy and highly regarded PE Department is made up of ten members of staff. The Department runs very successful examination courses at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC along with a huge extra-curricular programme and multiple teams. The PE department has also been awarded GOLD Quality mark by the Youth Sports Trust for its PE and school sport provision. George Abbot has a reputation for excellence in sport and our students are very committed to sporting success.
All applicants must demonstrate a passion for the subject with the ability to inspire a love of learning and provide a strong commitment to extra-curricular clubs. The ability to offer a specialism in football or rugby is essential. Additionally, candidates should be able to teach academic PE, contributing to our examination courses and fostering academic excellence in the subject. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced staff to join our highly experienced and expert team.
