Early Years Teaching Assistant - Blackburn
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our outstanding partner schools near Blackburn.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young learners and fostering their development in the foundational years.
The Role
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students both in and out of the classroom.
- Supporting classroom management to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
- Promoting social and emotional development through engaging and interactive activities.
- Communicating effectively with teachers, students, and parents to support individual needs.
Position Details
- Location: Blackburn
- Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:45 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).
- Type: Temporary
- Contract: Full-time
- Pay: £95+ per day, dependent on experience
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: Ongoing
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- A collaborative approach to working within a team.
Eligibility Requirements
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Possess an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide two professional child-related references.
