Role Description In this newly created role, as the Head of IT, you'll have the opportunity to oversee a transformative technology overhaul and system reset across the business. This pivotal position will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our technology infrastructure strategy. Based in our London head office, the ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale IT projects, such as systems integrations, cloud migrations, and the implementation of new platforms, security protocols, and staff training programs. Additionally, you'll conduct a comprehensive review of all hardware and software across the business to ensure operations are cohesive, efficient, and cost-effective. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth transitions, minimising disruptions, achieving business objectives, and preparing KERB for scalable growth. Responsibilities Oversee the complete technology strategy and transformation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. Review all current systems and processes with a view to streamlining ways of working across the organisation. Develop and manage the implementation of new systems. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders. Identify potential risks, issues, and obstacles throughout the process. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimise disruptions to the business. Manage cloud migration initiatives, data transfer, and system upgrades, with a focus on security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Implement effective change management strategies to help the business adapt to new technology and processes. Facilitate training and knowledge sharing with end-users. Deliver IT assistance for all team members at our London and venue-based offices, including troubleshooting with all software and hardware. Collaborate with our Office Coordinator and Scrum-master in procurement and upkeep of all hardware/rental contracts (office WAP phone systems, printers, networks). Create and maintain asset lists and software licences. Manage the IT budget. Contribute to monthly management reporting when required. Requirements and skills Essential Knowledge and experience of the following systems and services and protocols Google Workspaces and/or Microsoft Office 365. Configuration of switches, network patching, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi. Apple – iOS and MacOS. Microsoft – Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Microsoft Office. Knowledge of firewall and networking technologies. Substantial experience in project management within the IT/Tech sector. Proven experience leading large-scale technology overhauls or system resets. Experience with cloud-based solutions, systems integration, and IT infrastructure projects.
