At Nescot, we are recruiting for a Sessional Lecturer in Health and Social Care.
Nescot has a simulated ward environment with interactive technology resources such as VR Headsets, Reality Works Real Care Babies, and other nursery-associated equipment to provide real-life learning experiences and give learners opportunities to apply theory to practice.
What we are looking for:
* Experienced teachers/lecturers teaching 16-18-year-old Childcare subjects including:
o Support with the Employer Set Project (ESP)
o Recap and mastery of Historical wider context and supporting education
o Observations and assessments and reflective practice
o To teach equality and diversity and SEND
o To support covering the ESP material and exam support; an Assessor qualification would be ideal
Qualifications/Experience:
* Ability to adapt learning strategies to meet students' needs
* Qualification up to degree level is preferred
* Vocational/industry experience is essential (i.e., Paramedics, nursing, caring, nurseries, schools, etc.)
Main Duties for the Lecturer in Health and Social Care and Childcare:
* Delivering learning experiences that are engaging, challenging, and informed by professional practice
* Attend meetings as required
* Develop existing and/or new courses together
