As Accounts Assistant you will be working within the finance team, processing invoices for Group & 3rd party suppliers. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader. Job responsibilities of a Accounts Assistant include: Processing sales and purchase invoices Reconciling customer and supplier accounts Recording payments received and sent and matching with invoices Recording cash payments and associated purchase receipts Reconciling bank statements with the accounting records Maintaining Fixed Asset records Updating spreadsheet records that support reconciliations and reporting Qualifications As an Accounts Assistant you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications: Ideally have experience on Accounts and Accounting software packages such as SAP, but not essential as training will be provided To be professional and able to operate as a team player or individually as necessary Ability to manage priorities and to work effectively and without direct supervision Be confident in communicating and dealing with people on the telephone/in person/by mail at all levels both internally with colleagues and externally with suppliers Conscientious and reliable Flexible attitude and methodical approach to work/training/working hours The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Effectively priorities work load in order to meet set deadlines Be proactive and able to make decisions Proficient in Computer Literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Additional Information As part of our drive to make Culina Group a great place to work, we are proud to be an inclusive and diverse organisation where we are committed to employee development and recognising success for hard working performers.
