About this Neighbourhood Management Officer job in Canterbury:
The role of the Neighbourhood Manager is vital in our commitment to keeping our tenants at the heart of what we do. In this role, you will:
* Be responsible for a geographical patch of properties delivering neighbourhood management functions to our social housing estates, to include estate walkabouts, lettings, tenancy management, dealing with low-level neighbourhood issues
* Provide support and guidance to our most complex and vulnerable customers to sustain their tenancies
* Be observant with an attention to detail and identify any patterns or trends within case reviews.
Working pattern
* Full-time, 37 hours per week
* Flexible, hybrid working arrangements
* A full week off over Christmas in addition to your annual leave allowance
About you, the ideal Neighbourhood Management Officer for our team:
Your qualifications:
* Qualification in Housing or person support-related field or Significant demonstrable experience
Your knowledge:
* Early intervention and prevention, tenancy sustainment or social housing management
* Significant experience of dealing with a range of customers and complex situations
* Knowledge of welfare benefits and budget management
* Significant knowledge of the needs of complex and vulnerable people, and ability to translate this into practice
Essential
* Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as part of their pre-employment clearances. DBS is required for this role.
