Role and responsibilities Telephone and administrative based customer service position Delivering great customer care in a warm, genuine and friendly manner Prioritising and processing customer contact via telephone and email Taking inbound calls from customers with queries about, or looking to make changes to, their motor insurance Conducting outbound calls to customers to chase outstanding items required to complete their policy or to provide case updates Processing incoming communication from third parties to ensure our systems and customers are kept up-to-date Maintaining thorough and accurate records Delivering targets and working towards deadlines The successful candidate must have a strong can-do mentality and be comfortable in a high pressure call centre environment Skills and experience required: Experience in the insurance industry Telephone experience of inbound and outbound calls Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Friendly, patient and helpful Team player with the ability to flex requirements to meet the needs of the business Exceptional attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook Experience within motor insurance Beneficial, but not essential: CII qualification Experience with Open GI software Salary and benefits: Salary range £23,900-£24,500 depending on experience.
