What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a Computing Teacher, a role that is open to candidates at all levels of experience. For those with the appropriate experience and expertise, there is also the opportunity to take on the additional responsibility of a Lead Practitioner role, which would include a TLR2 allowance. This provides a fantastic chance for the right candidate to further their career while contributing significantly to the development of our Computing department.
The Computer Science department plays a key role within school. It is a small department, with ambition to grow.
Each classroom is fully equipped with computers, flat-screen monitors, a printer and a ceiling-mounted projector; the department also has BBC Microbits, robots, Raspberry Pi’s, cameras, lighting and other equipment.
You will become part of strong and successful team within a well-established department. Our key strength is the experience and knowledge within the team which provides our students with an exciting curriculum and great opportunities up to and including KS5.
