Specialist – Digital Collections Strategy

Your new role at NewDay
An exciting role as part of our groundbreaking Digital Strategy team, you will be responsible for leading strategic changes and process improvements within the pioneering Credit Operations - Digital Collections Strategy department!
You will ensure that we deliver on our customer focused and digitally oriented ambitions to ultimately drive engaged customers and improve outcomes. You will also engage with teams across NewDay to ensure that our ambitions are delivered efficiently - on time, within budget and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support Digital process improvements across our Website, Mobile Applications, Chatbot and Digital Messaging.
* Identify optimisation opportunities of contact strategies in collaboration with our analyst team.
* Make data-led decisions by using behavioural and performance insights to enhance customer engagement and experience.
* Drive customer-focused use cases through workshops, analysis and process deep-dives to ensure positive outcomes.
* Define solutions aligned with our NewDay values and our customer-orientated manifesto.
* Support business change by working closely with cross-functional teams to establish effective process design and implementation standards.
* Ensure Control and Governance are followed to minimise risk and maintain audit readiness.
* Maintain and optimise processes across our digital estate.
* Prepare and facilitate journey playback sessions and associated benefits with a range of stakeholders.
* Prioritise workloads at short notice where necessary and communicate any risks to Credit Teams regarding other tasks/projects.
What you’ll bring
We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:
* Focus on customer-centric solutions.
* Knowledge of customer and user experience (CX/UX) design.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Adaptability to manage changing priorities.
* Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
And would love you to know or learn:
* Experience in financial services.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies.
* Understanding of the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira and Confluence.
