About the role
As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will work in a thriving team of talented and nurturing healthcare academics who are delivering excellent educational experiences to our students. You will be fully supported as a new or developing academic through clear line management and mentorship from a more established member of the team. You will have the opportunity to undertake a recognised teaching qualification as well as taking on a range of other academic roles.
About you
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Nursing with a focus on Nursing within the Learning Disabilities Nursing field of practice. As a registered Nurse (LD), you will deliver high-quality learning experiences to students on a range of programmes within the school. An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject is essential, as well as an understanding and knowledge of contemporary Nursing within the context of UK practice, underpinned by clinical experience within Learning Disability Nursing. You will be passionate about student success and committed to engaging our learners in their lifelong learning journey of becoming a future healthcare professional.
