Salary: £40,000 Dynamic Environment: Join a company that values operational excellence, safety, and reliability Competitive BenefitsKey Responsibilities: Routine Maintenance & Fault Response: Carry out scheduled maintenance and promptly respond to equipment faults to minimise disruption to production Maintenance Strategy Design: Collaborate with the lead maintenance engineer to design and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures System Monitoring & Updates: Update and monitor maintenance jobs, preventive maintenance schedule, and stock levels in the engineering system. Provide weekly updates on completed works and any relevant issues Breakdown Diagnosis & Repairs: Diagnose breakdown issues, replace faulty parts, ensure equipment is operational, and perform quality inspections on completed tasks Cross-Department Liaison: Work with internal departments, and other engineering and production teams to ensure smooth operations and effective problem resolution Procurement: Arrange for the procurement of specialist fixtures, fittings, or components as required Tool & Equipment Management: Control and manage maintenance tools, stores, and equipment, ensuring they are available and in good condition Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and unplanned repairs, ensuring all safety and operational procedures are followed Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health and safety legislation Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment Meetings & Reporting: Attend production and engineering meetings as required, providing insights and feedback on maintenance issues and improvements Facilities/Electrical Maintenance: Undertake facilities or electrical maintenance tasks when needed and work alongside production teams Sister Site Work: Occasional work at the sister siteQualifications & Experience: Technical Skills: Relevant technical expertise and experience in maintenance and engineering practices, including knowledge of plant and machinery Qualifications: BTEC/HNC or equivalent in Electromechanical/Multiskilled Engineering (essential) Apprenticeship or training in HM Forces (desirable) 17th/18th Edition Electrical Installation (desirable) Forklift and Mobile Platform qualifications (desirable) ATEX, COMPEX EX01–EX04 & EX05–EX06 (desirable) IOSH Working Safely and Ladder Inspection certifications (desirable) Additional Skills: Knowledge of fabrication, machining (preferred) Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage tasks effectively under pressureHow to Apply: If you’re excited about this opportunity and ready to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you.
