We are looking for a Catering Supervisor to work in the busy and friendly Coffee Bean Coffee Shop located within Workington Community Hospital.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 3pm daily.
We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service, who will work as part of a small team, providing and maintaining an efficient catering service, as the Supervisor you would be responsible for ensuring the service runs smoothly from devising the menu to ordering the food.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the job include:
1. Responsible for the day to day operation of the Catering Service within a caf
2. Prepare food and work with Community Catering Manager to devise menus.
3. Ensure food and hygiene standards are met ensuring adherance to all Food Safety Regulations and Legislation.
4. Following HACCP and COSHH
5. Reporting faults and hazards to the appropriate person.
6. Keeping records for traceability.
7. Train staff and ensuring mandatory training is complete.
8. Dealing with any issues arising within the Cafe
9. Cashing up at the end of the day.
10. Ordering food and work with the Community Catering Manager to devise menu's
11. Stock management and ordering of stock from approved suppliers
