As a Regional Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing our agent network across Scotland and North East England, with most of your day-to-day activity focused between Glasgow and Edinburgh. We're ideally looking for someone based in this central area, with the flexibility to travel regularly across the region.
This role is all aboutpartnership and performance. You’ll work closely with existing Western Union agents and key accounts—helping them succeed, optimizing operations, and identifying opportunities to grow their business. You'll also help activate new agent locations and ensure they’re set up for long-term success.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Build strong, trust-based relationships with existing agent partners across your territory.
2. Act as a key point of contact, supporting daily operations, sharing insights, and helping agents maximize their performance.
3. Onboard and activate new agents, providing training and guidance to ensure a smooth launch.
4. Conduct regular in-person visits to agent locations, offering coaching, troubleshooting, and strategic support.
5. Analyze performance trends to identify growth opportunities and drive results.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve agent queries, streamline processes, and deliver excellent service.
7. Champion Western Union’s brand and values in the field, building loyalty and long-term engagement.
Role Requirements:
8. Proven experience in account management, partner support, or outside sales—ideally within financial services or field-based operations.
9. Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive, consultative approach to client engagement.
10. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment.
11. Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
12. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and performance analysis.
13. Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
14. Knowledge of the UK money transfer or remittance market is a strong advantage.
15. Fluency in English is required;additional languages are highly welcomed.
16. Valid UK driver’s license and openness to regular regional travel.
