We are seeking applications from suitably qualified persons to manage our Council tenancies as part of a proactive, customer-focused team of Tenancy Services Officers. The Officers are responsible for providing a range of services for tenants and we aim to meet high standards of customer care. The enforcement of tenancy conditions is part of the role.
Applicants must have experience of working in a social housing environment, possess a sound knowledge of housing legislation, good practice, and consumer standards. You must have experience of working with tenants to collect rent, act on complaints, and ensure the property they occupy is maintained to a suitable condition.
Those applying must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, that they can work with tenants to resolve issues, and can show how they would work effectively with a variety of agencies. Excellent IT skills are required as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively and to respond and adapt to changing priorities required in delivering a quality service.
