The Role:
As PE Coordinator and Class Teacher, you will have a dual responsibility:
1. Leading and coordinating the school's PE curriculum, encouraging physical activity and a love for sports in a supportive, inclusive manner.
2. Teaching a class of enthusiastic students with special educational needs, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring their overall development in a holistic way.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a candidate who is:
o Educated to degree level and interested in gaining QTS within 2 years.
o Enrolled on a degree program with the intention of obtaining QTS within 2 years of completion.
* Experience in special education is highly desirable, but we also welcome applications from teachers who are keen to develop their experience in a special school setting.
* A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences for children with diverse needs.
* A passion for physical education and promoting inclusive activities that encourage all pupils to participate and achieve.
