Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Supply Chain and Operational leadership team through best practice in Manufacturing Excellence through a strong culture of Continuous Improvement and TPM Phased Progression.
2. Drive the Supply Chain Vision, Mission, Strategy & Tactics (VMOST) and lead the strategy to develop an engaged workforce and the continued development of manufacturing associates.
3. Deliver world-class service by providing customers with the right products within the agreed timeframe.
4. Responsible for the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) – revising time-phased projections for demand, supply, new product and portfolio activities, strategic projects, resulting financial plans, and capacity constraints.
5. Prepare the Plant Budget with Monthly Forecasting to meet the needs of the business and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
6. Drive the strategic supply plan through leadership across the UK manufacturing plant.
7. Champion Health and Safety as the forefront of day-to-day operations, driving the Business Units to zero accidents.
8. Lead Supply Chain with a strong compliance culture, delivering against quality metrics through good engagement working in partnership with FSQA.
9. Work closely with global teams to improve local performance, aligning with breakthrough projects that will make a step change in performance.
10. Embed food safety, hygiene, and quality standards and mindsets appropriate to a quality food manufacturer using Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs).
11. Continually improve manufacturing to maximize performance that meets/exceeds company standards, KPIs including OEE and OTIF measures, customer, and legislative requirements.
12. Manage and drive efficient warehouse operations that control inventory/working capital in line with forecast cost projections while ensuring customer service levels are achieved.
13. Develop an efficient and effective engineering function that provides solutions, maintains, and improves operational capability and capacity.
14. Be an active collaborator working cross-functionally and with other Rich global sites to meet business objectives.
15. Effectively manage in line with company policies and procedures, associate life cycle activities such as absence, disciplinary, etc.
16. Champion the company values and GLDs to drive the family culture and focus on engagement.
