My client is recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator.
Mainly TIG, looking at all levels BUT must be a welder with experience in stainless or mild steel, sheet metal.

Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrate proficiency in stainless steel fabrication; hygienic pipework installations are a bonus.
* Manufacture components including tanks, vessels, valve matrices, platforms, gantries, and skid assemblies.
* Travel in the UK and to Northern Ireland; all expenses paid.
* Collaborate effectively within a team and readily follow instructions.
* Liaise with customer contact when needed and represent the Company.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, taking responsibility for personal and others' well-being.
* Comprehend manufacturing, schematic, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
* Possess expertise and proficiency in TIG welding methods.
* Exhibit competence in pipe building and a thorough understanding of hygienic welding principles and procedures.
* Occasionally work during non-traditional hours and be willing to travel for assignments away from home.
* Be open to acquiring new skills through training or further development in relevant areas.
The Ideal Candidate
The candidate will possess a GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths.
Essential qualifications include:
* Practical expertise in TIG welding and fabrication, accompanied by a practical understanding of sheet metal machinery and equipment.
* Proficiency in fine wall pipe building and familiarity with hygienic welding procedures.
* A valid driving license is a must.
* Effective communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
* A diligent and conscientious work ethic, a willingness to work overtime, and an ability to adapt promptly to short-notice changes.
Experience within the food or beverages sector would be ideal but is not essential.
