Blackpool FC Academy are seeking coaches to attend 4:30pm - 6:00m on Fridays at a new Development Centre to be based in Thornton/Sefton, North Liverpool. Roles and responsibilities: • Planning and delivering high quality, fun training sessions for U7 U8. • Connecting and communicating effectively with young players to create a positive and creative environment. • Assessing and Feeding back on player performance over the course of a season. • Aligning training sessions with Blackpool FC philosophy. • Identify High Potential individuals and improve them within sessions. • Support the Players' education and welfare by working closely with the Head of Education, welfare officers, and parents. • Ensure Players maintain a healthy balance between football, education, and personal life. • Ensure that all activities are compliant with the EPPP (Elite Player Performance Plan) regulations and safeguarding standards. • Follow best practices. • Additional duties as reasonably requested by Academy Lead Foundation Coach. • To adhere to the Club’s Safeguarding Policy at all times. • To promote a safe and healthy working environment for all Players and staff. • To promote a professional image of the Club and themselves at all times. • To contribute to identifying and undertaking initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. • To work with and support other team members as required ensuring effective and efficient service is developed and delivered. • You will be expected to seek ways of updating and improving personal skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to your own job role. We will ask potential coaches into one of our development centres at Leyland or Blackpool to deliver a training session as part of their interview assessments. Candidates will be interviewed by our Lead Foundation Coach. Successful candidates require an Enhanced DBS check (required prior to commencing the role). Hourly remuneration rate to be agreed. About The Candidate Required Qualifications: • UEFA C Coaching qualification • FA Safeguarding for Children • FA Emergency First Aid in Football • A Full, valid UK Driving Licence Experience: • It is not necessary for any prior professional Club Academy Coaching experience, but you do need proven football coaching experience with children. About The Club Blackpool Football Club is an English Professional Association Football Club based in the seaside town of Blackpool, Lancashire.
