About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for working with small groups of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, tailoring lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of learning difficulties. You will also have the flexibility to support Key Stage 3 students when required, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience across all age groups.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a resource-based setting, offering tailored support to students who benefit from additional help, while being part of a nurturing school environment that values positive reinforcement and reward systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with a focus on individual learning needs.
* Support students with SEN in small group or one-on-one settings, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.
* Provide flexible support across Key Stage 3 classes as required, maintaining consistency in teaching approaches.
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) for students with SEN, working closely with teaching assistants and other professionals.
* Foster a positive reward-based learning environment, using strategies to encourage good behaviour and academic engagement.
* Track and monitor progress, providing regular updates to parents, carers, and the leadership team.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure all students receive the necessary support to succeed.
* Promote emotional well-being and independence in students, encouraging them to take responsibility for their own learning.

What You'll Need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching children with SEN, particularly those with moderate learning difficulties or other additional needs.

* A calm and patient teaching style, with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for all students.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
