Wellbeing and Activities Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing and Activities Assistant to join our Magic Moments Team at Four Seasons Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to lead fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the needs of our residents through meetings with them, team members, and family members
* Develop and deliver a wide range of activities, including music, exercise, and arts & crafts, tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents
* Build strong relationships with residents and their families to gather life story information and ensure care plans and activities are developed and updated accordingly
* Collaborate with care staff and relatives to create personalized activities that engage our residents and reflect their interests and hobbies
* Establish and maintain community links with local groups and arrange trips and excursions to involve our residents in activities outside the Home
* Support the roll-out of the Magic Moments initiatives and encourage others to be involved
* Track and record activity engagement using digital and written methods
Requirements:
* Confident in delivering group and one-to-one activities
* A team player with excellent communication skills
* A genuine interest in promoting independence and lifestyle opportunities for the elderly
* Energetic and hard-working with basic IT skills
* Flexible and adaptable to change
