About the role Here's your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a global leader. As the Supply Accountant (Stock) for Reckitt, you're not just crunching numbers; you're fuelling decisions that enhance our operational excellence and profitability. You'll work closely with the heart of our supply chain, providing insights that drive strategic actions and improve our gross margin. With your expertise, we can streamline our supply and procurement process, yielding high-impact results that resonate across our global market. Your responsibilities -Business partner with logistics, planning and packaging teams to prepare budgets and forecasts, proactively highlight any risks and opportunities. -Support Operational Finance Lead with budget areas of conversion cost and provide detailed explanation on key variances to plan, forecasts latest views and flash. -Support the financial preparation of the annual plan for areas of responsibility to cover logistics, stock balances and material variances on waste and stock write offs. -Evaluate factory waste to ensure that key drivers are understood and tracking of improvement projects. Financial analysis to be prepared for forecasts, plans and weekly monitoring. -Preparation and review of stock provisions on a weekly basis with business partnering with other functions to review and challenge processes to minimise balances. -Liaise with warehouse team on stock takes on Hull site and at third party vendors and for all stock reported on balance sheet. -Work closely with key members of the site and finance team, ensure the financial integrity of the SAP system and that its use is in line with the corporate model. -Responsible for financial controls within area and ensure audit ready from a financial control perspective.
