Join a large Queensland government department as a Portfolio and Reporting Analyst, supporting a large-scale transformation program by collaborating with central teams and cross-functional squads. Contribute to planning, prioritization, resource management, reporting, and execution for seamless delivery in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Work and collaborate with the transformation team and squads to actively drive and manage planning, prioritization, resourcing, reporting, and execution activities across the program’s lifecycle.
2. Work alongside the core team and estimate/delivery squads to support the management of financial information and budgets for the program, including monitoring of project costs, managing invoicing, forecasting, and ensuring optimal resource allocation across the program.
3. Deliver appropriate reporting for the assigned program in alignment with enterprise-level frameworks and governance standards, ensuring transparency and accuracy for senior and executive level stakeholders.
4. Maintain a focus on portfolio management best practices and foundational project delivery methods and apply consistent methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
5. Develop, manage, and maintain project management templates, tools, artefacts, methodologies, and organization of project documentation for assigned projects.
6. Ensure that assigned project records are accurately maintained in accordance with records management policies and procedures, while meeting legislative, business, and compliance requirements.
7. Help establish and maintain a comprehensive program knowledge base, ensuring that key program information, lessons learned, and best practices are documented and accessible for future reference.
About You:
1. 10+ years of experience in program reporting, project coordination, and portfolio management, with direct involvement in large-scale, multi-year transformational programs across diverse business functions, ensuring the delivery of measurable outcomes.
2. Experience managing financial tracking for large transformation programs, including budget management, cost forecasting, resource allocation, and cost reporting.
3. Extensive experience working in highly regulated industries, with a strong understanding of industry-specific compliance requirements, governance frameworks, and regulatory standards.
4. Demonstrated success in producing detailed program reports for senior leadership and executive stakeholders, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic goals.
5. Knowledge of portfolio management best practices, including the ability to apply frameworks and methodologies to ensure the alignment and successful delivery of transformation programs.
6. Proven track record of coordinating program-level documentation, ensuring all records are managed according to organizational and legal standards.
