You will support the Cook Manager in managing every aspect of the food and beverage operations as a Mobile Cook Manager in South East London area covering Eltham, Greenwich, Woolwich, Plumstead and Sidcup. Together with the Cook Manager, you will ensure that the kitchen supplies are showcased and presented in the most visually appealing manner possible, guaranteeing that we are providing the greatest service possible. In addition, you won't have to put in odd hours and will get time off for public holidays, which includes Christmas!

What you do:
* Prepare, cook, present, and serve food to company standards which may include breakfast, morning break, lunch, and hospitality.
* Adhere to all company compliance (such as Food safety, Health and Safety, Allergen awareness, COSHH and HACCP regulations).
* Carry out craft/skills training for catering staff.
* Ensure that all service counters and food are presented to company standards.
* Guarantee that each dish served is portioned according to business requirements.
* Complete daily/weekly cleaning duties as instructed by the line manager, including all food preparation and storage areas and all catering communal areas. Remove waste from the catering area.
* Deliver exceptionally high standards in customer service, cleanliness, tidiness, and other operational activity.
What you bring:
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in hands-on cooking; training on Food Hygiene and Health & Safety will be provided.
* Expertise in cooking on a large scale, anywhere between 100 – 1300 students.
* Experience following recipes, possibly in a similar setting.
* Experience working with fresh produce and ingredients.
* Awareness of the importance of adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a busy kitchen environment.
* Professionalism, leading by example, and maintaining a positive outlook.
* Basic food handling skills certification.
