Your Role We have a critical role to help Greater Manchester continue to deliver on its ambitions for the Bee Network an integrated active and public transport network which is affordable, accessible, inclusive, sustainable, and accountable. In support of these ambitions we are seeking a Consultations and Inclusion Officer to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of TfGM s strategic consultations, public engagement and equalities activity. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within the Partnerships, Engagement and Inclusion Team in TfGM s Transport Strategy function. You will work with the organisation and its partners to deliver effective, end-to-end consultations and engagement activity, help ensure the organisation fulfil its equalities duties and work collaboratively with communities and service users to ensure they have a voice in decision making. What you ll bring You will have knowledge of the local authority landscape in Greater Manchester as well as experience of partnership working and be comfortable working within a complex environment with the ability to manage a range of priorities. You should have experience of planning and managing events, building contacts and networks, collaborating with communities and establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders as well as collating and assessing information for reports. You should have experience in planning and delivering consultation and engagement programmes and a knowledge of equalities issues in an organisational setting. Additionally, you should have practical experience in setting up monitoring and reporting tools, translating information into appropriate formats for different audiences and preparing public-facing materials. You will also be educated to degree level or have equivalent levels of experience.
