About Us: We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with Xero experience to join our team. As part of our growth plan, we are required to present more detailed financial management reports at the board meetings.
Since we have been managing the transactions ourselves, there are parts that haven’t been managed correctly and we are unable to hand the accounts over to the new accountants in order to provide the management reporting.
What we urgently need someone to do is come in and go through Xero and ensure all transactions, bills, invoices, payments, and all our factoring account transactions are reconciled correctly (from March 2024 to date) in order to hand over to the new accountants all up to date.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero
* Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
* Process accounts payable and receivable
* Prepare financial reports and summaries
* Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
* AAT Qualified
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
