Secondary Computer Science Teacher required - Birmingham - £1000 - £1250 per week. As a passionate and committed teacher, can you inspire young minds and foster a love of Computer Science within your pupils using an engaging teaching style? PK Education are recruiting a Secondary Computer Science Teacher for a large-sized secondary school located in Birmingham. The role will start straight away and the school require an enthusiastic teacher with a positive attitude to teach GCSE level classes as well as vocational KS5 on a full-time basis. The successful candidate for this Secondary Computer Science Teacher role will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.
Essential for the Secondary Computer Science Teacher role:
1. Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
2. Experience teaching KS3 & KS4 as well as Vocational KS5.
3. Good classroom and behaviour management.
4. Extensive knowledge of the current curriculum.
5. Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
6. You will be required to do all planning, marking, and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent's evening.
Additional requirements for this Secondary Computer Science Teacher role:

2. Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service or a current DBS check under our clearance procedures.
Salary and Benefits for this Secondary Computer Science Teacher role:
1. Competitive rates of pay from between £39,000 to £48,750 per annum (AWR Compliant).
