We are looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join our Clerk of the Parliaments’ Office at the House of Lords. This is a position where you will be hands-on in the audit planning process, undertake selected audits from the plan and regularly track and report on audit output and other performance metrics, to assess the progress of the section. You will also take a leading role in continuously improving and developing the Internal Audit (IA) function, bringing greater structure to the audit planning processes, and working to build relationships with other key stakeholders, particularly those within our Governance Team, to ensure collaborative and cohesive working. You will also line manage two auditors, providing appropriate guidance, support and coaching whilst reviewing all output. Your own line management will be through the Head of IA. This is an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis where you will be able to work 2 days from home and 3 days onsite at Parliament This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong practical knowledge of managing and advising in an IA function, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and can organise tasks to achieve agreed deadlines.
