Their portfolio includes subscription-based and Open Access journals, medical guidelines, protocols, and a rich multimedia collection of video tutorials, webinars, and podcasts. Role Highlights: Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of working two days a week in Windsor and the rest from home Salary: ca. £28,000 Full time, permanent role 28 days holiday bank holidays Health insurance Contributory pension scheme Generous annual budget for individual training and development Collaborative Environment: Work closely with Editors, Publishers, Managing Editors, and the Publications Director Key Responsibilities: Assist with data gathering, scheduling, and minute-taking for board and team meetings Respond to author queries and support the Publisher in updating and maintaining the journal website Create author profiles in the directory system Conduct final quality checks on accepted articles, ensuring completeness and correct layout Promote content on social media Produce conference submission reports What We're Looking For: This junior role does not require previous publishing experience. However, candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in STM publishing, including peer review, Open Access, and publishing ethics. Strong communication skills, attention to detail (including proofreading technical content), and proficiency in Excel are essential.
