Maintenance Engineer
Your new company: We have an opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to join a well-established engineering team as a full-time permanent member, to support the 24/5 manufacturing process.
Your new role: As part of the on-site shift engineering team, you will work a rotating pattern of early and late shifts with some call-outs for shift cover and some weekend planned maintenance. You will carry out daily operational checks and support production with equipment size changes and setup.
In the event of breakdowns, you will lead fault identification and correction. You will replenish stock holdings and identify PMs. You will carry out preventative maintenance works generated via the site's electronic maintenance system and provide feedback on works undertaken.
What you'll need to succeed: You will have electrical and mechanical qualifications (C&G or NVQ level 3), with good mechanical engineering skills and experience in electrical fault-finding and repair. Experience gained in a manufacturing or heavy industrial engineering environment is essential. Knowledge of health & safety in the workplace, along with good communication and IT skills, is required.
