Johnsons Hotel, Restaurant & Catering is seeking an Area Sales Manager
Join a highly successful sales team covering most of the south-west peninsula with a particular focus on Cornwall and West Devon. This is a full-time, field-based position that will report directly to the HORECA Sales & Marketing Director.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Generate new business through self-generated sales, canvassing, and quotation activity.
2. Effectively deal with, and where possible, convert all sales enquiries that are received.
3. Sell across the full range of the company’s product/service offering.
4. Raise sales leads for other Johnsons Service Group companies.
5. Use the on-line quote and order system to generate quotes and new order paperwork.
6. Utilize the external CRM system to record prospects/quotes.
7. Complete all administration and reporting requirements clearly, correctly, and within designated time frames.
8. Work closely with the GM and other operational and customer services staff at our Cornwall depot.
9. Build and maintain good relationships with customers and the team.
10. Work effectively remotely/independently.
11. Previous field-based sales experience.
