Your responsibilities
* Play an integral role in executing and progressing the procurement strategy for Olympus in the UK & Ireland.
* Work within a team who strategically manage a multi-million spend to generate extra value and savings for the business.
* Identify opportunities to generate savings and enhance value from spend.
* Lead sourcing events for goods and services.
* Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value outcomes for the business.
* Work with internal stakeholders and supply chain to ensure optimal performance.
* Manage the supplier onboarding and review processes.
* Raise purchase orders.
* Create spend and data reports to support strategic development and decision making.
* Promote and develop sustainability and social responsibility throughout the Olympus supply chain.
* Ensure procurement best practice throughout the region.
Minimum Requirements
* Solid Procurement/Purchasing experience.
* Track record of delivering savings and best value while managing multiple internal stakeholders.
* Relevant qualification (i.e. CIPS) is highly desirable, yet not essential to apply.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships.
* Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
* Capable of working within strict deadlines.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel in particular.
