We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children and managing behaviour and can communicate in a calm and positive manner. The candidate will need to have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, forming positive relationships with adults and peers. The role will include: Setting up and clearing away dining room equipment such as chairs and tables. Assist children with their table manners and use of cutlery supporting where necessary Assist with the cleaning of dining tables and the dining hall Supervising children on the playground or classroom (if wet play) and encouraging positive play and inclusion Support behaviour management and record, using the school's systems, accidents or incidents of behaviour Communicate effectively with the class teacher to ensure handovers are completed Safeguarding Recruitment Statement: St Oswald's is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and we expect all staff to share this commitment.
