Salary: £26,000–30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Centre for Financial Professionals (CeFPro) is an international market intelligence and event organiser, producing outstanding B2B commercial conferences for financial, risk, and technology professionals. We drive innovation, foster collaboration, and champion sustainability and equality within the financial sector. Under the CeFPro umbrella, we manage Connect Magazine, featuring the latest industry news; Connect+, a global financial community platform; the Market Intelligence Unit, which provides deep insights into cutting-edge topics through industry reports and surveys; as well as leading international conferences and webinars.
Your Role:
As a Conference Producer, you will play a key role in creating engaging, impactful events for leaders in the financial services industry. Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing Content: Researching industry trends and creating engaging conference agendas based on your findings.
* Speaker & Talent Management: Building relationships with key executives and decision makers to secure world-class presenters and the biggest banks and service providers.
* Event Planning & Coordination: Research, write and procure high-level thought leaders to your events around the world.
* Collaboration: Working alongside our enthusiastic marketing, sales, and operations teams to make each event a success.
* Sponsorship & Partnerships: Helping create a profitable and attractive event, and creating opportunities for partners to maximise event revenues and opportunities.
* On-Site Event Management: Leading events on the ground, networking with clients, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly, whether in London or New York or Amsterdam or Dubai.
* Post-Event Analysis: Gathering feedback and evaluating the success of each event to ensure continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re excited to work with recent graduates or early-career professionals who have a passion for the events industry and possess:
* A BA degree, strong research and analytical skills.
* A passion for research and problem-solving, for creative thinking.
* A keen interest in business affairs and trends, in finance and fintech and the changes taking place.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for writing clear, engaging content.
* Commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
* Attention to detail and great problem-solving abilities.
* Energy, enthusiasm, and a self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive approach to projects and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Flexibility and motivation, with a desire to put in your best effort to achieve exceptional results.
* A desire and ability to travel abroad for events.
Bonus Points If You Have:
* Experience with live, virtual or hybrid events.
* Familiarity with the latest event industry tools and trends.
* An understanding of how financial markets work, or general interest in economic issues
