Sales Consultant
Location: Reigate (Hybrid)
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 + OTE (70-90k realistic) + Car Allowance
My client based in Reigate is looking for a Sales Consultant to join their team. You will consult with both new and existing customers, both face-to-face and remotely, to develop opportunities and propose solutions from our diverse product portfolio with the aim to ultimately upsell, cross-sell, and onboard new logos. The position would ideally suit a highly driven and motivated individual with a passion for hitting achievable targets and earning uncapped commission.
Responsibilities:
1. Working closely with prospective customers to understand their underlying requirements, decision criteria, and the most appropriate solutions from the range of products and services.
2. Demonstrating developed business acumen and the ability to proactively self-generate sales opportunities through outbound sales/marketing activity, sales strategies, and entrepreneurial initiative.
3. Accurately recording and maintaining records of all sales activity through the designated business systems.
4. Working to achieve and exceed your monthly target and contribute towards team/business unit targets.
5. Primarily targeting the acquisition of new customers (New Logo) and cross-sell/upsell opportunities into existing relationships.
6. Nurturing close working relationships with all customers to fulfill the status of a Trusted Partner.
7. Carefully mapping the Sales Process and ensuring a thorough and professional engagement with each opportunity, managed through automated systems including Hubspot.
8. Professionally articulating the financial, operational, and technical benefits of each sale, negotiating contract awards, and providing detailed analysis of the reasons for each contract award and/or loss to feed back to the Sales Director and our Continual Improvement Plan.
9. Delivering accurate forecasting to the business to support appropriate resource planning and business information.
10. Embracing opportunities to drive further sales success, working in conjunction with the Marketing Team, Lead Generation Team, and the wider Sales-Oriented Community.
11. Striving to continually deliver successful sales performance and sharing repeatable practices for wider business success.
