Would you like to join the staff team of an expanding Alternative Provision Free School?
Solihull Alternative Provision Academy, part of the Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust (SAPMAT), is an alternative provision where we provide innovative solutions for a number of students for whom mainstream education is simply not working (for a range of reasons). As we have developed, we have continued to recruit committed, passionate, and talented staff who ensure a full range of interventions to help change the outcomes and life chances for our students for the better.
About this Role
You will contribute to the teaching of the Humanities Department and participate in the development of appropriate schemes of work (syllabus, materials, and teaching strategies) in line with the National Curriculum, Department Schemes of Work, and the school's aims and objectives.
We are looking for someone who is:
* passionate about teaching and committed to inclusive education;
* able to use a variety of techniques to engage students and ensure good standards of behaviour;
* a strong team player.
In return, SAPMAT will offer you:
* The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children;
* A friendly and supportive team;
* Continuous professional development;
* The opportunity to grow your own career within the trust;
* Employee benefits including a Staff Wellbeing program.
Please refer to the Recruitment Pack, Job Description & Person Specification attached for full details of this vacancy.
