About the Role
This role will be based at Witney Library, with an expectation the staff member will provide support to other libraries within a 25 mile radius, as and when needed. The staff member ensures that the library operates to the highest standards of customer service set by the Library Leadership Team.
The role is customer facing and involves continual interaction with users of the library and library customer service advisers. The staff member delivers events within the library but will need to build and maintain relationships with the wider community. The role is detail oriented and involves performing administrative and clerical duties and organising library materials and information. This role is peripatetic and may involve work at other library branches to provide cover.

We are looking for a flexible,enthusiastic, and highly motivated person toleadand develop the role of the library within the community.You will be able to demonstrate a love of reading and the ability to enthuse others, whilst having the skills needed to work with people from all backgrounds, and accurately report to the Group Library Manager.
