Job title:\nContract MIG Welders/Fabricator\n\nJob location:\nMilton Keynes\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n* Excellent Rates\n* Plenty of Hours 60+\n* 12 months - rolling contract\n* Huge Scope of Work\n* Up to £1102 take home per week\n\nShifts:\nDays Only\n\nHours per week: \n40 - 60\n\nDuration:\n12 Months +\n\nStart date:\nASAP\n\nRate:\n£28ph - Starting (Umbrella)\n£30ph - After All codings completed (Umbrella)\n\nPosition Summary:\nRolling stock refurbishment and repurposing, corrosion and structural body repairs\n\nOngoing work within rail/rolling stock engineering sector\n\n* Inspection, replacement and repair of corroded sections of rolling stock\n* Stripping damaged sections, window cut outs and whole floor replacement\n* Solid wire MIG work working with predominantly mild steel from 2- 10mm - with MPI tested welds\n* Welding new sections and infill pieces, variety of positions, including vertical and overhead required\n* Experience with fabrication, use of grinders and plasma required\n* Ability to work from verbal instruction and engineering drawings\n\nAll candidates will be required to successfully complete T fillet test pieces in Vertical Up and Overhead on 2mm and 5mm\n\nCandidates will have:\n- Relevant City and Guilds / NVQ - Level 2 Required\n- Experience of Position Welding, ideally evidenced through codings held.\n- Own PPE Expected as undertaking Contract Role\n\nContact Information: James Bell\nEmail: (url removed)
