Role Overview
We want our customers to be inspired, and we're finding bigger and better ways to provide it, using technology to drive innovation and deliver our vision to become the world's leading retailer. You'll be the voice of our customers from day one, solving problems, defining product roadmaps and building products that could affect millions of people across the world for years to come.
During your 10-week paid summer programme, you'll gain lots of experience in the day-to-day role of a Product Manager. From holding workshops with stakeholders, writing user stories, or getting feedback from customers and data analysis, you'll prioritise development with evidence-based decisions to maximise value for our customers. You'll be part of a cross-functional team of software engineers, designers and analysts, and work closely with business partners to ensure alignment to strategic goals.
Who we are looking for
We're looking for interns with a curious, creative mind, who love solving problems. You'll need a passion for technology, an analytical mind and be comfortable translating product vision into detailed engineering requirements. Communication skills are essential to gain support for your ideas and understand the wider business context.
What's a Product Manager?
A Product Manager translates customer problems into technology product development, working with software engineers and contributing to the product roadmap and vision.
Working at our Welwyn Garden City campus
Our leafy, green campus is 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden City with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities. Close to the A1, and with frequent trains running to Finsbury Park in just 20 minutes, the campus is well connected to the surrounding area.
