This is an exciting time to join our business and Huntingdon in particular Salary: £32,052 per annum (depending on experience) Performance bonus opportunity: £2.6K per annum. Who do we want? We are looking for an experience Site Operations, Warehouse, and Transport Supervisor, preferably with a CPC licence (however, we would be willing to help fund you gaining your CPC licence), along with: Previous experience within Warehouse, Logistics at a management or supervisor level Good knowledge of the local area Extensive understanding of transport legislation Computer literate Effective communication style and an ability to influence and motivate warehouse colleagues and home delivery crews. An ability to drive and improve team performance. Along with helping us to create a culture of customer focus, can-do attitude and going the extra mile, you will be responsible for: Supporting a safe and legally compliant Cross Dock and Transport operation Supporting the Site Operations Manager ensuring that all processes are adhered to within the warehouse and transport, on site and on the road. Supporting the Cross Dock operations, operating plans, fleet, equipment, and resourcing levels meet demand. Exemplifies the company’s values and behaviours. Be an inspirational leader communicating consistently. Customer focused, ensuring all colleagues understand the impact their role has on customer service, managing performance to improve NPS. Provide innovative solutions to continuously improve performance. Coach and mentor the team building talent and succession plans throughout the Cross Dock Operation. Work closely with the Site Operations Manager to ensure efficiencies can be identified and best in practice procedures put into place. Supporting objective setting and performance reviews are in place for all colleagues. Help to Organise service and maintenance of MHE and vehicles in line with legal requirements. Help to Manage driver hours in line with working time legislation.
