We’re currently seeking a Automotive Quality Engineer to join ourdedicated Automotive team at Aflex. You’ll join a dynamic cross functional team,that collaborates with our global customer base, supplying in to markets suchas passenger vehicles, motorsport, performance and aftermarket, through the worlds leading brands. Thesebrands turn to Aflex when product and process failure could be catastrophic tohuman life and/or brand reputation, consequently safety, reliability,efficiency and flexibility cannot be compromised.

1. You will have APQP cradle to grave responsibility for Automotive business enquiries, liaising with all departments within the organisation to achieve goals.
2. You will lead on implementing effective use and maintenance of core tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SOPs)
3. Using your experience, you will manage customer complaints through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement projects, whilst administrating 8D reports and customer communication.
4. You will carry out FMEA reviews as part of multi functional team and collaborate on the action plans to reduce risk
5. You will collaborate with our quality team to carry out internal, process and product audits in accordance with schedules and provide assistance as and when required when external audits are being conducted.
6. You will have direct communication with the automotive customers and carry out customer site visits, as necessary
7. You will monitor customer satisfaction to provide opportunities for universal improvement.
8. Using your knowledge on Provide interpretation of standards and legislation and provide necessary supporting documentation and certification.
9. You will use your leadership and project management skill to work closely with the production team to highlight and implement continuous improvement opportunities
To be successful in this role, youwill need:
10. Significant experience working as a quality engineer experience within the Automotive sector
11. Core tools trained
12. IATF 16929 internal auditor trained
13. Top level contract review experience
14. Engineering/manufacturing background
15. Ability to manage work priorities
16. Excellent communication, rapport building and people skills
17. Strong presentations skills
